At the heart of the Exhibition, a full-scale demonstration of automated packaging can be discovered, with the participation of some twenty suppliers covering all the functions of a packaging line. This is designed with the aim of a gradual transition of its model from "single use" to "pre-packaged conditioning with reuse of the container", and this, with the same equipment!
This way, the visitor can follow every step of a packaging product from production to distribution and reuse, including its return to circulation, through a cleaning phase. This demonstration provides new insights into how to move towards reducing single-use packaging.
In a dedicated area, with CITEO, the French leader in standard and shared reusable packaging, the main stakeholders in the reuse ecosystem and value chain will be present (a panel of suppliers offering targeted packaging solutions, washing...).
